Parents and Students of Butterfield,
Welcome to another exciting year! I am your Assistant Principal, Amanda Howland, and I am very excited to be serving the families and community of Butterfield Elementary. Butterfield has been my home from the day we opened our doors in 2008. This school and the people in it mean so much to me. I am a graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in early childhood education and a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce with a degree in school administration. I have been in education since 2002 teaching grades from Pk to special education. I truly love my job and I feel that education is one of the most important careers in the world.
This is going to be an awesome year! There are new and exciting things to look forward too. We are going to celebrate students and their achievements at every grade level. I look forward to watching your child grow in wisdom this year at Butterfield! Amanda Howland
